What caught our eye before visiting — from reviews and research, not a stay.
A 32-room love hotel in Kawada-cho, Utsunomiya. The pitch: every room comes standard with ReFa (the beauty-appliance brand) shower heads and similar amenities.
10 rooms are equipped with JOYSOUND MAX karaoke, so you can sing without leaving the room. Every room also has a 65-inch TV with a Blu-ray player supporting YouTube and Netflix.
Overnight (weekdays): from ¥6,050. There's also a long-time rest plan of up to 17 hours (7pm to noon the next day), among other flexible options.
We haven't been yet, so a star rating is still a ways off.
