What caught our eye before visiting — from reviews and research, not a stay.
A renewal and rename of the former "Hotel Watergate Kanazawa." Rooms reportedly come with their own sauna, reaching up to 110°C with löyly available (the switch shuts off automatically after 90 minutes).
Reviews apparently describe using the bathtub as a cold plunge after the sauna, or opening the window for some open-air cooldown.
Despite being a building-style hotel, it has individually shuttered parking for each room.
Close to a Costco (Nonoichi) and Aeon Mall Hakusan, with good access toward Kanazawa and the Noto Peninsula.
We haven't been yet, so a star rating is still a ways off.
