What caught our eye before visiting — from reviews and research, not a stay.
An 86-room hotel in Sanno, Nakagawa Ward, Nagoya, Aichi — 5 minutes on foot from Meitetsu Sanno Station and 5–10 minutes by car from Nagoya Station.
All 86 rooms have different design concepts. The official site sorts its rooms into six themes: Very Cute, Casual Pop, Cool Japanese, Excellent Gorgeous, Romantic Elegant, and Sic Modern.
Every room has karaoke (new songs added monthly), and Rooms 405, 505, 1005, and 1003 have full-scale LIVE DAM STADIUM karaoke rooms. Every room has a TV of 42 inches or more, a blower bath, and a bathroom TV, and 21 rooms have a sauna.
Reviews on a booking site (153 reviews, average 4.2/5) and on Couples (15 reviews, average 3.88) praise the staff's service and the handmade food (omelet rice, salads, and so on). Some reviewers also mention bathroom odors, aging fixtures, a mix-up between non-smoking and smoking rooms, and a hard-to-find parking lot.
We haven't been yet, so a star rating is still a ways off.
