On Our Radar
What caught our eye before visiting — from reviews and research, not a stay.
A designer hotel with 52 rooms (40 in the main building, 12 in the annex) in Kita-Otsuka, Toshima Ward, Tokyo — 1 minute on foot from JR Otsuka Station's North Exit.
Nine room types furnished with pieces by world-famous designers such as Le Corbusier, Eames, and Isamu Noguchi.
Every room has a bathroom TV and a rainbow blower bath. Some rooms come with a 100-inch projector and 3D virtual surround.
We haven't been yet, so a star rating is still a ways off.
