I was looking for a place to stay in Takamatsu and found this hotel on Google Maps.

On the booking sites, there were several room ranks.

Just in case, I checked the official site too, and there was a "uniform-rate coupon."

Apparently, it makes the price the same regardless of rank.

On Booking.com, for about the same price, I'd have gotten a lower-rank room.

I'm glad I checked the official site.

This time I didn't book. I walked in, took a vacant room, and used the coupon.

And the room I got was Room 708, the top rank.

The towels were wonderfully fluffy.

The bath, toilet, washstand, bed — the whole room was clean.

The bed is king-size and firm.

Personally, I like that.

The front desk was also pleasant over the phone.

At the entrance, there's a welcome drink bar, a shampoo bar, and an amenity bar.

A top-rank room at the uniform rate, with all of this.

Great value.

Official name: Hotel Daitokyo (Otokojuku Hotel Group). A 28-room love hotel in Kasuga-cho, Takamatsu, Kagawa. 30 parking spaces (high-roof vehicles OK).
Every room has a water server, a hand massager, and a phone charger. The ground-floor lobby offers shampoo to borrow, an amenity buffet, and bath salts. Some rooms have VOD and a 60-inch TV.
